This winter we managed to get away for a couple of weeks of warmth in Fuerteventura.
By a lucky chance Phil and Sandy had a vacancy in their apartment for one of our uncommitted time windows.
John spent a lot of time on the beach with his toys, photographing the flora and fauna.

The last few days were very windy - well Fuerteventura does translate as "strong winds."
We spend the last few days in Corralejo, in the Hotel Corralejo, the first hotel in the town.
We thought the wind had dropped so we went down to the dunes beaches to have lunch at a beach bar. They were all closed so we lunched at the 4-star Hotel Tres Islas instead.
